Do braces hurt when they put them on?
Do they hurt when they put the wire through on your fist visit when you get them on. i know that they hurt for about a week but when dose the pain start, dose it start hen they put the wire through and pull???

it hurts when you first get them put on, for a week, bad enough that i couldnt eat anything solid. that pain starts about 4 hours after you get them put totally on. then, when you go to get them tightened, it may hurt for the first few months of tightening, only for a day or two, but after having them on for a while, it doesnt even hurt when you get them tightened. when you get them taken off, it will feel like a bunch of pressure then youll hear a pop. it doesnt hurt. but for a few days, your teeth feel really SLIMY and SMALL! haha
