it requires 4 years of undergraduate college education, during which you take biology and chemistry classes. The requirements are a bit different for each dental school, but most include the basic sciences plus a few upper division levels (most applicants major in biology or chemistry but you dont have to as long as you take all required classes). then you take the DAT, dental admissions test, and apply for dental school. Dental school is 4 years after you have graduated from undergraduate with a bachelor degree. You will earn a D.D.S. from the dental school.
