infection been ongoing since january this year.
the treatment is very exspensive,cannot afford to lose tooth,
have i waited to long for treatment,have been told there is an 85% chance of succes, what are the critrea for sucess

well you have been waiting too long and ideally you should have get it done by march or april as infection spreads too fast and it may involve the bone underneath and by now there might have been much or resorption taken place which can be clinically evaluated by taking a radiograph and then only it can be said whether you need a RCT or not, so my advice would be consult your dentist as soon as possible and as far as chances of success is concerned they were 85% previously but now they will be definatly lesser as you dint get it done when it was required, finally success can be evaluated only after clinical evaluation.so consult your dentist as soon as possible.
