Are dental whitening take home trays from ur dentist office more effective than !

Question: MOST ALL DENTAL WHITENING TREATMENTS ARE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN CREST WHITESTRIPS. CREST WHITESTRIPS DOES NOTHING FOR YOUR TEETH AND/OR IT'S ENAMEL AND CAUSES STAINS THAT YOU DID NOT NEED FROM THE BEGINNING SO IT'S BEST TO GO TO A PROFESSIONAL ANYWAYS INSTEAD OF USING WHITESTRIPS FROM THE LOCAL STORE. THE ONES FROM THE DENTIST ARE MORE PROFESSIONAL, LAST LONGER, MAKES YOUR TEETH LOOK BETTER AND ARE WORTH THE MONEY, TIME AND THE TREATMENT OVERALL. THE CREST WHITESTRIPS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A NEW TRIP TO THE DENTIST IF YOU WILL ... GOOD LUCK, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, HAPPY NEW YEAR AND I HOPE I ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION!!!

yes. they are full strength

i think crest strips are better

definately

same stuff. they just peel off the stickers and charge you double.

It depends on what you think. I personally use Crest White Strips because they are cheaper.

YES, sort of. It really depends on the whitening solution you use.

they work better but there are some that the dentist gives out that are really strong and you arent sposed to have till your oldr.

Some kinds of stain are more treatable by bleaching than others.
Almost all vital bleaching methods, including Crest white strips, take-home tray bleaching, in office Britesmile or Zoom use some form of carbamyl peroxide. Trays may be somewhat more effective at holding the bleach in one place, and dentists may have more concentrated solutions. But while one method may be somewhat quicker and more convenient, they are different in convenience and speed, not in kind.
If Crest whitestrips don't do much, chances are trays won't do much either.
One caution--it may be difficult to monitor if and how much your teeth may have lightened without using a shadeguide.

Yes, I believe that they are. The impressions that they take fit exactly to your teeth instead of the "one size fits all" kind of deal that you get with the over the counter strips. Also, you dentist is able to give you a stronger solution to place in you trays then what you can purchased over the counter. However, if you do the trays from the dentist be aware that they are usually expensive (but you have them forever and just have to buy more gel) and your teeth can become very sensitive from the solution that they give you. I have seen great results with crest strips, but some just need the stronger solution to get the results they want. If you're really unsure about what you would like to do I would try the Crest strips first. They're lots cheaper and it's better to start small if you're not quite sure that you're going to like them. Best of luck with your decision!!
