Is drinking hot tea bad for teeth ?!

Question:

Is drinking hot tea bad for teeth ?

sugarless tea without milk ( green tea )
but drinking 6-8 cups per day and hot

Answers:

Drinking hot green tea should be no problem for your teeth.

There are 2 exceptions... if the tea is so hot it scalds your mouth it could crack your teeth.

The other problem might arise from coming in out of cold weather and gulping hot tea while your teeth are still cold.

I had a friend who like to drink alternative gulps of hot tea and icy cold milk. She cracked a couple of teeth.
