How old were you when you had your wisdom teeth out?!

Question: I was 34. The surgery resulted in a fractured jaw and destruction of the nerves on the left side of my face. The teeth were badly impacted, growing into the jawbone, and had to be smashed and picked out in slivers. I also had four dry sockets after the surgery and 12 years later I don't have any feeling on the left lower side of my face.

The moral of this story? If your oral surgeon says, "Your wisdom teeth need to come out," say, "Yessir."
