Braces? I get them in 3 days!?!
Question: What does those molar bands on your teeth for braces mean. I have spacers in right now and I have no clue what the bands on your molars do! I get braces in 3 days! Help please and thank you!

Their just silver bads that they stick in your molars, they dont hurt at all when they get put in or afterwards, to put them in they just tell you to bite and it will slip in. Good luck with your braces, you might get sore for about a week because your teeth will be moving but its no big deal you will get used to them really fast
Flossing wont be hard it will just take a while and the silver bands on your molars will have no effect on your breath lol you wont even know they are there, and when you brush its just like brushing without having braces... no worries
Are you referring to the metal "rings" that go around your molars? If you are, all they do is keep the braces on, they sort of "anchor" them.
i had braces and i just got them off. the bands u get help get rid of ur overbite... braces arnt that bad..the first week its hard to eat anything.. but it gets alot better. dont worry

good luck with the braces they're VERY painful the first 4 or 5 days when u get em' and every month when u go to get em' tightened up the pain starts all over again. as long as u brush really good ur breath won't stink, they'll show u how to floss and how to brush correctly
the only bad thing about braces is your monthly check up...and how it effects your mouth after wards...but trust me i only have a couple of months to go...and i like having braces......the rubber band in between your teeth make room to put the silver things on the back of your four teeths which fix your over bit and let them control the way they are going to straighting your teeth and fix the problems in your mouth
Good luck in getting braces! The molar bands are metal anchors caps that hold the tightening of the wire. They're going to ask you to open your mouth and insert the metal caps under neath your molar and they'll ask you to bite down on it. It's painless and you'll get through it.
As for cleaning and maintaiing your braces, your orthodontists is going to teach everything about it cleaning your braces before you leave. /you'll probably watch a DVD on it. I had to sit in my ortho's office and watch a dvd about it, so yea.
All 3 of my kids had braces. All 3 hated them but put up with them. They are now in their 20s and 30s and their teeth look so good. They even thank me on occasion. So no matter how tough that first week is it is worth it. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
just brush like normal. and the spaces are for making ur molars or what ever move back.

If you are talking about those rings....they are just there to hold everything together. Braces only hurt for the first 2-4 days. WEAR CHAPSTICK WHEN YOU GO! it will help not hurt your lips. and when the opened your mouth i think it feels good. lol.
