Does my brother have a cavity?!
Question: There is a sore above his tooth in his gum area it is very sore but there is another tooth growing behing it not under it. it is a perminate tooth but he already had a filling there he has had tooth ake. He says it reall hurts we have thoght that it was just bothing him bc of his growing tooth but now we think its serious plz help also does a cavity have to be dark to know if u have it because it is as white ad snow plz help

A cavity is a tiny hole in the enamel of a tooth - 95% of all cavities are in the dip of the tooth. His pain is coming from the tooth trying to grow straight out - the tooth in front of it is preventing it from doing that. Each tooth has a nerve going to it - when it shifts position or meets resistance, it's gonna hurt. Visit a dentist to get a full list of options - i'd suggest getting the front tooth pulled.
Take him to a dentist right away. He could develop an abscess and serious pain.
It doesn't sound like a cavity but it may be
I would go to the dentist within the next few days, it may be somthing much more serious than just a cavity or it may just be a sore
if you can't get into the dentist because of the date, then I would just call the health line if you are worried
