my braces cut into my gums on my bottom lip so know i have these two huge col soar. what do i use to treat them

my daughter had braces on her top set of teeth and she had sores from rubbing.i dont think you have cold sores though as these are caused by the herpes virus.
our dentist gave my daughter some dental wax and its a bit like plasticene.you get a little ball and press it into shape and put it between your brace and your gum as a protective barrier.
ask you orthodontist if you can have some.
alternatively you could always try something like Bonjela or some other treatment for mouth sores to releive the soreness as they have something in them to numb the area affected.
if none of this works you could always ask your orthodontist if he can tweak your brace a bit to stop it cutting your lip
