How many times do you brush your teeth a day and for how long?!

Question: You need to brush 2 times a day at least. That's once in 12 hours and that is the amount of time taken for plaque build up. Once in 12 hours would help remove all the plaque and there would be no excessive build up. You need to brush more number of times if you snack a lot. The idea is to keep food particles out of your mouth, and not lingering inside, which causes gum problems and tooth decay.

If your brushing technique is right and (then it will be effective), you will need about 1 and half to 2 minutes for each session to clean all the surfaces of all your teeth. You will also need to change your brush once in about 3/4 months time, when it gets 'frayed'. Soft / medium bristles preferred.

Over brushing can cause the enamel to wear off ! All the best ! Merry Christmas

about 4 times a day if I can and for 2 mins or until I brush everything

i brush about 3 times a day for like atleast 2 minutes but sometimes longer casue i hav braces and food gets stuck alot.

Usually twice a day, and if I'm at home (I'm on the road a lot), it is a 2" brushing. I have an electric toothbrush and it has that timer built in to it.

1 time for like 2 min

Usually twice. Never timed myself....I just brush until I've brushed everything.

I brush twice daily for 2 minutes and I floss once at night. I rinse my mouth with listerine after I eat. Do this and you'll keep your set of teeth for the rest of your life. Remember it takes 6 weeks to develop a habit.

I brush for two minutes twice a day with a mechanical toothbrush, once after breakfast, and before I go to bed. I also floss before I go to bed.If you're going to miss a brushing session, the better one to miss is the morning one, because at night your saliva glands slow down so that the saliva doesn't rinse the food off your teeth as much. If I am not using a mechanical toothbrush, I brush for about three minutes instead of two.

I brush my teeth twice a day, after breakfast and before bed. I floss each time as well and use this Listerine mouth wash that hardens the enamel on your teeth to protect them. I brush about 2 mins each time too and i dont brush too hard, especially ever since my mom told me that she has patients come in and she's seen them brush the enamel off their teeth lol.

Five times a day with a very soft brush. Floss twice, Listerine twice.

2 times daily for about 2 minute each time. Once is not enough.

2 times a day. 2:00 minutes

at least twice or three times a day do a good job on front tops inside and tong and gums then the floss oral health can prevent some infections that lead to heart failure
