Are you speaking of chloriphorm? The do not use that anymore. If you are going to the dentist they usually use Nitrous Oxide Gas to make you sort of calm then go ahead and inject a local anesthesia and you won't feel a thing. If you are having to see a Maxifacial surgeon and have to be fully asleep then they use the same anesthesia as they do in the hospital and many times they actually do their procedures at the hospital and depending on the length of time for the procedure an anesthetician will keep you under as long as needed unless you show signs of an elevated heart rate or a lowered heart rate or that your blood pressure is low or way high. If you are in comparitivly good health you should have no problems and it will over before you know it. You may have a headache afterwards but it will be minor sort of like a hang over. Good luck.
