Would a mandibular torus interfere with your tonsils?!

Question: I have one on the bottom right side in my inner jaw..and my right tonsil is swollen, as well as the glands in my neck..I also have a pain right next to my ear (its also a smallbump slightly raised...you can feel the diff between the two ears)
Would that be normal because of the MT or is is something else i should get checked out? So far ive had it two days but the swelling went down a bit.

a mandibular torus should not interfere with your tonsils, nor should it change in size. the torus (or tori, if you have more) is a boney protruberance. The only real thing those can interfere with is if you ever need dentures on your lower teeth.

What you may have swollen are your lymph nodes, if you're sick, or if you have some sort of infection in your tonsils. The pain you're having radiating to your ears could indicate any number of things; your wisdom teeth could also be a culprit. You should get your tonsils checked out by your physician, just to make sure it isn't anything too serious
