I got a palatal expander on the 20th. This is my fifth time to turn it today. I !
Question: The first time I turned it I felt a lot of pressure, but now I don't feel all that much pressure when I turn it. I do feel pressure, but it goes away quickly. Is this normal? Is my expander even working? Plus, when wil l start to see a gap between my front teeth?

haha. i have one right now. and i dotn have to turn it anymore(yess!!) Yeah,it normal. Yeah, its working. Your gap will prob. show up in about 2-4 weeks. Mine was huge):

but it goes away and you got to keep in for a while. ( I got mine in June and get it out Jan. 2nd ! whooohh !)
Your gonna get alot of food stuck up there too. So what i do is take a huge breath of air and let it out fast and it usually comes out (:
