Is root canal treatment newest after old way of removing tooth?!
Question:
Is root canal treatment newest after old way of removing tooth?
Answers:
Root canal is not a new treatment and is not the same as a tooth extraction. Exactly what are you asking here? During a root canal the nerves are removed from the root canals, the roots themselves are not removed. At your next appointment these canals are filled and usually you are then fitted for a crown, however the tooth can sometimes be repaired and a crown can be done later. The tooth now will be painless since the roots are not longer there. The life of the tooth is somewhat shorter when you have had a root canal done on it.
