Wisdom teeth Removal question.?!

Question:

Wisdom teeth Removal question.?

I had my wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks ago. I have 1 whole left between my gum and my back tooth. The other side that was removed is completely healed. Now, the side with the hole(right), is bleeding. Its been bleeding non-stop for a little over a 1/2 hour now. Its not clotting. I have gauze on it. The hole was leaving a scent. It was smelling like infection. The hole was sometimes leaking white pus looking stuff. I was keeping the hole clean with mouth wash, and salt water. I didn't have this problem with it until Saturday morning. It seemed better this morning. But, as soon as I eat something, it smells like infection again, and now it won't stop bleeding. What do I do? I am calling my oral surgeon tomorrow morning, but its really making me scared, and making me upset. Please help.

Answers:

Get some gauze and continue to keep the area clean for now.

You probably have an infection caused by embedded food. It is really hard to keep stuff out of there, even when you try really hard to.

Your oral surgeon will be able to get rid of the obstruction, which should subsequently heal. You may need antibiotics.

Sorry this happened to you. Best of luck.
