Way to whiten teeth bonding?!
Question: My two front teeth are bonded, but they have discolored faster than my normal teeth. I have no where near enough money to get them redone. Is there any way I can whiten the bonding?

While composite bonding can't be lightened, it is possible that these can be polished to restore the original luster as it may just be surface staining. Talk with your doc.

You cannot whiten bonding. I would suggest going to your dentist and getting a consultation.
No. That's the problem with bonded teeth. They discolor.
Nothing will help at all.
If the teeth were porcelain veneers or porcelain crowns this would not be occuring because they don't discolor.

I speak from interested experience since I have 12 crowns.
I also have the front top two crowned and have read that it is bad to use the whitening chemicals on the porcelain.
But I am definitely not the final word. My front two are still nice and white and about 10 or 12 years old and the two on each side of them are my natural teeth and are not so white anymore. But they are pretty old.

Get the dentist to "roughen up the surface" a little bit, then reglaze. That should lighten them up some. The best way is just to get them redone.
Yes. I didn't know this, but a dentist I went to recently simply used a stronger cleaning wheel to remove a very tiny fraction of the surface of my bonding. The result was astounding. It turned out like the day I had them first bonded. I wished I had known about this and done this years ago. It only took him 20 minutes and cost very little. I couldn't thank him enough.
