Wisdom Teeth Removal?
Hi I have a few questions about wisdom teeth removal. Three of my wisdom teeth come in seemingly normal, but my lower left wisdom tooth is impacted pretty badly. I am going to have to have them removed. I have my consultation on Thursday, and I know that the dentists sugar coat everything to make you more comfortable, but I am looking for actual experiences of wisdom teeth removal. I'm not really that afraid of the actual procedure, because as long as I don't feel anything, I'll be fine. I've never really gotten nervous at doctor or dentist appts and I don't really have a needle phobia. What I'm most worried about is the after effects. Is it terribly painful the days following the procedure? Will they give me any pain medicine? How long does the pain usually last after the procedure is done (days? weeks?)? Thanks for any advice! It is truly greatly appreciated!

It should be alright so long as ur not allergic to the medicine they give you. That happend to me and it was notpretty i threw up for a whole 24 hours afterwards. Its not that bad if u dont have an allergic reaction to the meds. youll be pretty loopy for a few hours but the pain should dull over the few hours afterwards and then ull just have puffy cheeks. dont sweat it
