to much oral sex maybe?

kiddin'

try whitening chewing gums, stop smoking (if you do), stop eating **** (if you do), stop with the coffee, teas, and things told above already. If there really is much yellow on your teeth that you can't take off, talk to a dentist and ask for laser teeth whitening. it works... :)

ps: **** - chocolates, sweets, etc.

take care

do you smoke? drink cofee, tea, soda or eat chocolates a lot? ask your dentist about laser teeth whitening.. in the meantime, try chewing whitening gums..

They're not supposed to be white. People who have white teeth have probably had them treated. Most people's natural colour is in shades of whitish yellow.

You could see your dentist to discuss what options are open to you if you do with to have whiter teeth, but it sounds like the home treatment ones aren't going to work for you.

Get a sonic toothbrush as they clean and polish the teeth far better than a manual or electric one.

Coffee, tea and red wine also stain the teeth.

Teeth contain pigment just like our skin and hair. The quantity of pigment in your teeth determines how yellow or white your teeth are. Brushing will NOT lighten pigment. Only a bleach will.

Other sources or causes of stain include, but are not limited to:
tea, coffee, cola products, red wine, tobacco, pot, tetracycline, iron supplements, plaque and tartar buildup (especially older deposits)

See you hygienist. Have her remove all extrinsic stains (stains on the surface of your teeth). When she is finished, if you still feel the teeth are too yellow, what you are left with are intrinsic stains (stains that are IN the enamel are dentin). All you can do to lighten intrinsic stains is use a bleach. Try Crest White Strips first. They are the most affordable product available that still provides very acceptable results. Use as directed!

36% carbamide peroxide should do the trick, look on ebay for it, it's a great tooth whitener.
