Is Powerade really that bad for your teeth when it has lest sugar then a carbona!
Question:
Is Powerade really that bad for your teeth when it has lest sugar then a carbonated drink?
I keep hearing how Powerade is so bad for your teeth. However, it has less sugar then your average cup of soda. How is it that Powerade is much worse then soda?
Answers:
It is fine as long as you keep all the plaque off of your teeth. It is the plaque that people miss from rushing their brushing or not flossing that causes the cavities, the sugar/carbs just feed the bacteria in the plaque so that it can cause the cavities. Proper oral hygiene routines can let you drink your powerade. The bad thing is people sometimes carry these bottles around and drink them constantly all day and keep bathing their mouth in sugar. Drink it and be done.
