when i was younger i had a white filling, a lot of people get crowns, silver and gold fillings etc. but i want what i had back then coz its lasted about 10 years. do they still do this and how expensive is it? what type of filling do you think it was.

It's called a resin filling and yes they still do them. The silver fillings are called amalgam. They have become very controversial because of the mercury content in them. Many people have complained that they have experienced mercury poisoning from amalgam fillings.
