What happens when you get your braces off???!
Question:
What happens when you get your braces off???
i get mine off in 10 days!
i would like to know:
1) how long does it take
2) does it hurt during OR after
3) do u get stains from where the braces werent
4) does it feel weird
5) and some peopel wont smile whne they get them off..why?
Answers:
1.) It takes about an hour to take them off and put your permanet retainers on.
2.) If you have sensitive teeth, when they grind the glue off that will hurt. But other than that you'll just have slightly swollen gums and they may be just a little bit tender.
3.)I didn't...but the whole tooth may be slightly discolored but not bad.
4.) Your teeth feel weird. Like they feel slimey. But it is SOO nice to have them off.
5.) Some people may not smile because they think they look weird. It does look a lot different and weird at first but it is good. They may also have severly discolored teeth because they didn't brush. So as long as you have been brushing good, you won't have very much discoloration.
