My widsom teeth?!

Question: I have 4 wisdom teeth just like most people. Nothing unusual about them. The two top ones are partially erupted an the two bottom ones are impacted and by the looks of X-ray, they are not going to come out naturally. So far non of them are giving me any troubles. I'm getting the two partially erupted ones removed soon as I don't want to risk cavity in my 2nd molar. But do I need to get my bottom ones out? They are sitting there not doing me any harms, and not causing any bumps in the gum line either.

I got them out when they werent even partially erupted. It was a pretty annoying surgical operation. I got out the 2 top and bottom right ones and a week later the other 2 from the left. They sewed the wounds and done deal. Then it was a little bothersome to get the strings removed a week later, but it was all over. You just gotta follow the surgeon's indications exactly as he tells you and you'll be fine.
If you are gonna get out the bottom ones nothing at all will happen, the only thing is that the operation is annoying as I said, it becomes a really surgical operation, and you'll ahve to be more careful during your resting days.

they usually always tell you you need em out.... when you dont..but it could be you really DO need them out and it cause big problems later

My brother had his out two years ago and I think they took out all four. I think it's normal to take them all out. Though it could depend if the think they will ever effect the rest of your mouth.

When I had mine out, I was told that the impacted ones could eventually cause problems (infections) and that it was best to get them all out. I wasn't being ripped off because I go to a non-profit dental clinic. They don't do any more work than what is completely necessary....

If they are hard to clean it could be beneficial to have them removed. Usually, wisdom teeth tend to bother some people at one point or another. They can cause your other teeth to shift and become crowded. They can also develop cysts and resorb bone over time. As long as you aren't having a problem with them and are keeping them clean, I wouldn't do anything to them.

yeah go ahead and get them out. They may not cause trouble now or hurt but they may later. Besides when or if you get your teeth straighten the pressure from those wisdom teeth will cause your other teeth to be pushed out of place. So thousands of dollars on braces would be for nothing

I took all 4 out but everyone is different situation. It depends on the structure of you mouth and how the teeths are positioned. Dentists sometimes want to take everyone out to make more money. Watch out for those type of dentists. I have seen few in so far.

I think take those two that is bothering you now and take the other two in the future if it bothers you also later.

Don't forget, long time ago we never have dentists people have teeth fell out so wisdom teeth were never a problem because they never brush and tooth would fall off naturally. No wisdom problem pushing anywhere.

I had mine out it will save you time, pain and, money if you just get them all out at once. You really don't want to have to go in there twice.

Get them out if your having uppers extracted just get lowers extracted cause then the lowers will have no opposing upper to rest on and will eventually give you problems ask to be put out out get it over with....

look it is realy a big big loss to take them out why dont u leave them and just bay a spacial brush and clean beatwen your tooth always and just give them some cear and about the once impacted leave them alone .
whont to tell u that also i used to have a partially erupted tooth and when i sow the dentist she said that i nead to take them out but i didnt i left it and know it is a good healthy tooth and it is realy nice to have a extra tooth . bye
