Question about Teeth?!

Question:

Question about Teeth?

When I was younger, I had a cavity filled (you know, those silver fillings). I've always kept up with my teeth since then and haven't had any problems...however, I was noticing that the tooth that had been filled is starting to turn slightly gray. Is that normal? Is that tooth rotting? It wouldn't be too terrible if that tooth had to be removed (it's at the very back of my mouth), but I'd kind of like to not have to spend money having it removed.

Answers:

The gray that you are seeing on the tooth is just the filling. It happens over time with the silver fillings. It's normal but if it starts to bother you in anyway go to the dentist. but you don't want to just pull the tooth if there is something wrong with it. You really do need all your teeth.
