How to clam down a extremely painful toothache?

I can't see a dentist till I receive some stuff in the mail to give to the medicaid place to be fully signed up. Probably take a couple weeks though. I've tried tyelnol and oragel with no relief at all. I need something a lot stronger. The pain is the worse pain I've ever felt and that is even comparing it to when I broke my arm in 4 places. I need something I can buy over the counter at a Walmart or Walgreens. I am doing warm salt water rinses also.

Thanks for all the replies. I have no income at the moment and already another bill that was sent to collections that medicaid can't help me with. I may try to contact medicaid tomorrow and see if I can go ahead to a dentist and give them the bill once my stuff comes in. I live out in the middle of nowhere so it is going to already be hard to find a dentist that will even take someone on medicaid. The pain is bad enough that I just want to have the worst teeth pulled and not even mess with trying to have them fixed. For some reason it's all on the same side of my mouth.
