EDIT: British people in like the Victorian times had bad teeth because they ate soo much sugar! They would put sugary stuff on their teeth as they thought it made it cleaner!

Generally we don't have better or worse than other nations. It's just the way that certain popular actors that get into the USA main stream have certain dental states.
Some people in USA have bad teeth, but they're never in the lime light.
That's a stereotype. Many of them have good dental hygiene, but there's a broad spectrum of people there, just like in most places. Some do. Some don't.

The do not have fluoride in their tap water. We do in the USA.
Fluoride help keep your teeth white and clean, but can cause brain cancer if too much is ingested. That is why most other country do not put it in the water. Tooth past has it as well.
