Tooth extraction area is bruised?!
Question:
Tooth extraction area is bruised?
I got a tooth extraction 3 days ago, and the gum area around the tooth seems to be bruised. it is not painful to the touch, but has a purple tint.
They did give me a numbing shot, 2 outer-side 1 inner-side, could that have anything to do with it?
Is this normal?

I"m getting a temporary tooth in that area next tuesday. will that be enough time for it to heal?

its quite normal as it takes a lot of leverage to extract a tooth. the purple colouration will go away in about a week.
