My impacted tooth wont come down?!

Question: I had oral surgery on like june 1st and the oral surgeon put a plate thing on my impacted tooth because it was crooked and it wasnt coming down. The orthodontists have been pulling it down for about 6 months. And I was eating chips and the plate just came off the tooth and now i have to get surgery again. Its called a surgical exposure. Is this going to work again? It didnt before. I think this is a waste of time and money. Once that tooth comes down, i get my braces off. But its not coming down so im stuck with my braces for another year and ive had them for 5 years.

There is no guarantee, unfortunately, that impacted teeth will come down. It is not a good sign that there hasn't been any movement in the six months since the previous surgery. Sometimes a tooth is locked to the bone; this is called ankylosed. If it is ankylosed, then this time the surgeon may try to loosen it when he exposes it. Good luck. It is not fun what you are going through, very painful and frustrating.

it will come down soon.some body i know have the same problem but he got it down oneday by doing nothing but eat he was so happy.
