Some hospital ERs that are equipped to handle dental emergencies can do things like extract a painful tooth for you.
Those that are not equipped to handle dental emergencies can at least give you an Rx for antibiotics to bring a raging tooth infection under control and painkillers too to tide you over until you can get to a dentist.
