There's this bubble on the inside of my lip, how do I get rid of it?!

Question:

There's this bubble on the inside of my lip, how do I get rid of it?

I pierced my lip about a month ago, and took the piercing out. And now theres this nasty little bubble on the inside of my lip where the piercing used to be. What could it be and how can I get rid of it?

Answers:

It's probably just scar tissue forming since you took the piercing out. You can try putting a little Vitamin E oil on the bubble. You can also try doing sea salt soaks or a hot compress (using your sea salt solution, but as hot as you can comfortably stand and a piece of sterile gauze). Apply for about 10 minutes a couple of times per day. It should take about a week or two to clear up.

If this doesn't work you can try talking to your piercer or any piercer and see what they recommend.
