Do you have the lining of your mouth coming off?!
Question: When I use Crest with Scope toothpaste, strings of my gum or lining of my mouth come off and I have to pull it out with my fingers. What is going on?? It only happens with Crest.

I do that with certain toothpastes, too. It's just sloughing of the tissue. I've seen lots of patients who do this. I've heard that it's a mild allergic reaction to something in the toothpaste. Switch to a different brand and it should clear up. : )
you are allergic to that paste. Change it.
