What is the difference between Porcelain veneers and Lava veneers?!

What is the difference between Porcelain veneers and Lava veneers?

Someone I know just got veneers put on their teeth. They asked for Porcelain veneers but the dentist put Lava veneers in their mouth. Is there a difference? If so, what is it?


Answers:

Lava veneers are a porcelain veneer, but it's suppose to be a stronger type of porcelain.
