Braces bracket?!

Question: Ok so I am not sure if my bracket for my braces is glued to my gums! I can wiggle it but it is still tough and of course won't move or break off. It is on my 2nd bicuspid (5th tooth from first tooth) and it doesn't hurt! I checked the other side (other 2nd bicuspid) and it isn't like that! Can someone hear please help?! My orthodontist is closed for a while and I just got braces Thursday on my tops only! Is like this because my tooth is small? ANY ORTHODONTIST OR PEOPLE WHO HAVE/HAD BRACES? I can still brush my teeth and eat but I have no clue if it's on my gums or the top of the small tooth?

God Bless!

Don't worry I'm more than positive that the bracket is still on your tooth because if it was wedged into your gum line you would be in a lot of pain whenever you brushed your teeth or ate. My advice would be try to keep your tongue away from it I had a similar problem so I had to go into my orthodontist's office all they have to do is just reattach the bracket. It's a painless procedure and you'll be in there for a short period of time I promise.

they wouldnt glue it to your gums, they would have noticed it is definatly attached to your tooth. My gums actually started to puff up when i got braces and im not exactly sure why. Maybe thats what happend to you. you should definatly call and schedule an appointment as soon as they are open though just to make sure nothing is serisouly wrong.

if it wiggles, then it is loosed. the only thing holding it in place is the archwire your orthodontist put to hold the brackets in place. a bracket that is adhered to the tooth wont wiggle or move. you should have it recemented and repositioned to its proper place to avoid any injuries or harm to your gums. i am an orthodontist here in the philippines.

it's fine, when i had braces brackets came loose all the time they'll reattach it next time you visit.
