Teeth Whitening??

I have been considering going to get my teeth professionally whitened.
Has anyone ever gotten this done? Any precautions, or was it just great?

oh, PS:
i tried Crest Whitening Strips, like for only one or two days and it KILLED my teeth and gums...i couldn't bear doing it another day!!
so, i was thinking if i go and get it done by the doctor...all in one shot, that'd be better...

the Crest Strips only whiten X-amount of shades...getting it professionally done whitens upto 14 shades! ...14!!

I recommend have your teeth professionally bleached at your dental office. I am a certified dental assistant and I bleach patients teeth all the time. At our office we use ZOOM which is an absolutely great product. It takes about an hour and a half and you also get bleaching trays to maintenance at home. The patients I have bleached did say several hours after getting bleached their teeth were very sensitive, but by the next day the sensitivity was gone and well worth it because they had great results. The prize of ZOOM or any other in office bleaching differs in price depending on the area in which your live. I'm in West Virginia (and yes we do have teeth in WV, lol) and the price is about $400. Also the results are instant.
