What is gum therapy and what is the procedure?
A dentist said I need gum therapy which is going to cost me 1000.00 for 3 three visits. I did a web search and found this liquid medication called gum therapy. Has any one ever had gum therapy and know roughly how much it cost what the procedure is.

wow..1000 for the dentist...that is expensive..my sister got hers done for 200 for two visits...they numb you through on one side...because they usually do half of your teeth first...it looks like a hook thing goes in your mouth to get out the tartar that has build up in your mouth...you will get along of bleeding...it doesn't really hurt..you will bleed alot tho...and then the second visit is the same thing..in about two to three weeks you should see results...the best way to keep it from getting tartar..is flossing everytime you eat or brush your teeth everytime you eat...
