What happens if you brush your teeth too hard?!
Question: let's just say that someone who brushes his/her teeth everyday, and they brush it hard, not hard to an extent but hard as in trying to get the plague out, now i personally think that brushing hard can break your teeth's barrier and open some white marks, i'm saying that's kind of a bad thing, so my question is: is brushing your teeth hard good or bad for you?

If you brush too hard or with too hard of a brush it could cause a couple problems. It could make your gums recede or pull back and/or it can cause you to wear away the enamel or root surface on your tooth. You should brush gently with a soft or extrasoft toothbrush. The goal of brushing is to remove plaque, which is soft, it doesn't require scrubbing or hard bristles to remove it. If it has a chance to turn hard, into tartar, no amount of brushing will remove it. You have to have it removed with a professional dental cleaning
bad, my dentist told me I am brushing the enamel off my teeth, so he said I should use a softer toothbrush with softer stokes.
There wouldn't be much of a difference in 'plaque' wise, but brushing hard everyday can ruin the enamel on your teeth and can make your gums bleed. So I would say, not very good! Best of Luck! ;)
Also, if you brush your teeth too hard with a toothbrush that may be too rigid, you can cut the protective gum skin that covers the upper root area of your teeth.
