In re: to my root canal today?
it is packed BIG TIME in the tooth. he took the filling out obvoiusly- and now i am thinking - the cotton is so packed in there bc there needs to be something that protects the nerves, ect., until my next visit to get the crown.
any ideas? (thanks for the other answers!)
(i tried calling the dentist- but they are closed)

A web search on google says to avoid biting down on that part of your mouth for 24 hours, and to take the gauze out after several.
