Sore throat after visiting the dentist?!

Question: I went to the dentist (on Dec 31) to get my teeth cleaned, and by that night I had a sore throat. Now, about a day later it's still sore. I have no other symptoms of a cold, so it must be 'cause of the dentist.
This ever happen to anyone else?

getting sore throat immediately after a dental visit is not possible, the germs need to incubate say 3-4 days. May be you were supposed to get it but coincided with the visit.

I DONT THINK ITS ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR VISIT AT THE DENTIST HOWEVER YOU COULD HAVE SOMETHING COMING ON AND HAVING YOUR TEETH CLEANED WITH YOUR MOUTH OPEN MAY JUST HAVE BEEN IRRITATING TO YOUR PROBLEM THAT WAS BEGINING

I think Paula's caps lock key is broken. Somebody should fix that.
