My wisdom teeth are half erupted through the gums, what could happen if i dont get them out? they are painful!
my wisdom teeth are killing me, and when feeling around back there they are half erupted through, do i have to have them out or???

Okay, let's start with the fact that they are hurting you. Why wouldn't you want them out?
Are you scared? Don't be. Everyone has had different experiences with third molar extractions. Unfortunately, you never hear the good stories, just the negative tales of bruising and swelling.
The fact is, the younger you are, the easier it is. You will be completely numb, or even put to sleep for the procedure. And come on, who doesn't like ice cream? You can eat all you want afterwards (sorry, no Rocky Road)
If you don't get them taken out, you will create crowding (your front teeth will eventually overlap) and risk possible infection. The gum tissue partially covering your wisdom teeth is probably trapping food; leading to decay and odor. Ask your dentist for an end tuft toothbrush for the time being. It's an angled, smaller toothbrush designed to clean these areas specifically.
Get 'em taken care of, you'll be glad you did.
