I just got my wisdom teeth removed...?!
Question: about 2 hours ago, all 4 of them, except they were in my gums, so i had to get anesthesia and everything. but my bottom lip is really swollen and numb, and i know thats normal, but i hate it and it feels awkward, how long will it take to wear off?

could be until the end of the evening. maybe earlier, it depends on how much they put in! i had my wisdom teeth (all 4) removed summer of 2007 and the numbing didn't go away until the end of the night. but they put alot in!! :) good luck...i would just try to sleep it off if i were you :) makes the time go by faster!

Oh, it won't take too long to wear off. Give it until tomorrow, and see if the swelling went down. The same thing happened to me, and after about a day, the swelling went down, and my lips were back to normal. Be careful about what you eat, because it is very easy to puncture your gums. Good luck!
It is a sign of recovering. You have just leave it alone or apply some medication for faster recovery. The question on how long will it take to wear off, is a question mark. It really depends on how much you rest... how your body system works and your activities that might trigger it.
