Has anyone ever had the "Herbst" device?
I will be getting the "Herbst" device soon, for orthodontia purposes. I already have braces.
Has anyone ever had the Herbst device? Please tell me everything about it, from side effects like soreness, to benefits. How did you deal with it in day-to-day life? Is there anything I should know about the Herbst? Do you have any tricks to ease the discomfort?

itts no big deal, it feels like a biteplate, so talking's not too much of a problem but it gets in the way while eating. it helps bring your jaw forward. and it holds your food for you so you can have a gross, nutritious snack later
