How can you whiten your teeth with household items?!

Question: I'd really like to make my teeth whiter, but I'm limited to only things in the house... baking soda and such. Please tell me what works and what doesn't!

Baking Soda with Hydrogen Peroxide. But careful when you use it. Dont use it every time you brush. While it will get your pearlies white, it will also soften your teeth (enamel) making you a whole lot more prone to cavities.

When using baking soda, have a little dish and sprinkle it in the dish. Get your brush wet and then scrape the soda onto the brush creating a "paste." Brush. I would suggest doing it once every two-three days. Not daily and certainly not several times a day. You want healthy whites but not unhealthy softies.

It may sound strange, but hydrogen peroxide. Use it like you would a mouthwash. You can also use it on your skin to lighten up blackheads.

Swish your mouth with peroxide after each brushing....don't over do it.

Baking soda with lemon juice, Mashed strawberries, or peroxide (don't swallow) are all natural teeth whiteners.

Use a whole lot of toothpaste and keep scrubing ur teeth do this for about a gud 4 minutes seems long i know. and use baking soda alot too. just keep scrubing ur teeth and then if they dnt get whiter keep scrubing untill they do.......

Baking soda and peroxide. Create a paste and allow it to sit on your teeth a few minutes. Do this a couple times a day.You will notice a difference
Oh and never use lemon juice on your teeth. It eats away at your enamel.

just put some tooth paste on your tooth brush and then put some baking soda on there

not being nasty but maybe you should ask your dentist, you can get seethrough retaners that have gell in, you put them in at night to sleep and they slowly whiten your teeth this takes along tim but is safe. ask a dentist or authodentist

and aparrently milk is good x

Making a paste of baking soda and peroxide does help! Be careful, though - this should not be used daily, because it is abrasive.

baking soda is probably the best thing u can use.

but make sure u use tooth paste as well. i brush with baking soda and crest toothpaste everyday.

hydrogen peroxide is also very good as previously mentioned.

food is also a way to whiten teeth. apples and carrots have a grainy texture that actually rubs off some plaque as u bit into them!

Hydrogen peroxide.. gargle for about a min or so, spit out then brush teeth normally.
