Is 30 too old to get braces?!

Question: do you think it would look silly for a 30 yr old to have metal braces

Answers: do you think it would look silly for a 30 yr old to have metal braces

Jessica does it really matter. Just think how good your going to look with those straight teeth. I say go for it.

Besides 30 is young.

course not, never to old to look good and healty!!!

not really, i saw an 80 yr old dude with braces

Yes, it would look really weird. People will stare at you. I'd only do it if you have snaggle teeth.

no......go for it! it'll make you happier in a few years to have that great smile.

You can never be too old to want to fix somethin on youself you dont like.
Tom Cruise had them, many other stars have, also my parents friend had them.

Its better getting braces to fix the problem than to live with it because you might think someone will judge! Who cares chances are you wont see them ever again!

Hope it helps!

I'd say go for it, but did you check out the invisaline braces? Those are clear.

Thirty is young. If you want braces go and get them.

I knew someone in her 40's. LOL It is getting more common place nowadays. Many people could not afford them when theywere young.

Get the braces before you need dentures! Just kidding. No way, it's not too old at all. Just visualize how straight your teeth will be once you have the braces taken out. One thing I've noticed is that some people look great with crooked teeth (depending on HOW crooked their teeth are). Before you get braces, think about whether you really need them. Do you look good with your teeth the way they are? If you are very insecure, you might as well get braces, but if it's something that doesn't bother you, I say don't get them.

No way! My bf dad is thinking about getting them and he is 56!

No, no. I had braces at age 42. My orthodontic graduate student who did my braces (I went to a dental school to have it done) said she had a 60-year-old patient.

If your teeth are crowded or crooked, it can result in loss of bone in the roots of your teeth. This can then result in even more crowding and even loss of teeth. If you need braces, no matter what your age, get them!

You are never too old for braces. Nowadays they have invisalign. Ask your dentist about them. They are invisible braces.
