What career makes dentures ,bridges ,etc?!


Question: Usually a lab tech makes dentures and bridges. Some offices have their labs on-site, so the turnaround time is quicker than sending out the impressions, etc....

It isn't that dentists are 'demanding', it's that the prosthetics should be perfect.. why settle for anything less? I'm sure you wouldn't want to wear a prosthetic leg that was one or two inches shorter than your natural one...

Some states require that Lab Techs be certified or licensed, but it's up to the Office of the Professions in each state.....

any dentist makes a bridge , denture because these things are easy and all the hard work willl be on the labratory technsion . so any dentist can do it ..... it depends on if dentist like his jobe and wants to do it right ...

a dental lab technician. it's very intricate and painstaking work. if you are patient and artistic, it may be an interesting job. dentists are demanding, so be prepared to kiss butt! most community colleges have classes for dlt.
