Tooth Hurts?!
Question: One of my bottom teeth (the sharp one near the front) is hurting me so bad! I can't take it!!! I've already tried Tylenol, but I don't have anything stronger, really. Anyway, it's extremely sensitive to cold and touch, and I accidentally bit on a cookie with it so now it hurts 24/7. When I look at it in the mirror, at the point, there is like a whitish spot. Did I break it? Should I be worried (because I'm known to panic...)? I'm going to call the dentist tomorrow, but I don't want to do anything to it that might make it any worse... help? (ahh the pain)
** Also, I went to the orthodontist for my braces, and asked them to take a look at it. They said it was nothing. Do they know what they're talking about, because this NOTHING hurts like heck!!**

If your parents don't want you to call the dentist, how about taking your temperature to see if (not to panic you more :) you have a fever which can indicate an infection. Perhaps you can have some warm tea since cold bothers you to even hydrate yourself. Perhaps you have soup that doesn't require a lot of chewing that can tied you over til seeing the dentist. Feel better soon, and everything should be fine.
If it hurts that much, contact your dentist.
