Tooth Infection Question... Any Professionals That Can Advise?!
Question: All I want to know is if it is possible that... an infection on one tooth and find it's way out through another tooth's gum. I will probably need a root canal, or have my wisdom pulled. It's hard to tell at this point but I'm going in on the 10th. I am on antibiotics. Can a Dentist or RDA please tell me, is it possible that infection in one tooth can find it's way out through another tooth's gum area?

THIS IS POSSIBLE IF THE TEETH ARE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER. A ROOT CANAL IS THE STANDARD TREATMENT, BUT IF THE CASE IS VERY SEVERE THE TOOTH SHOULD BE EXTRACTED.
I know you have been going nuts with all the problems you have had with your teeth my question is when you saw your regular dentist was a complete exam done telling you what treatment each tooth needs and the condition the tooth is in also letting you know which teeth are pressing to get done right away. The reason I ask is because it seems that it has all come as a surprise that you had one tooth treated and now another needs it. maybe if you have not you can get in for a complete set of xrays that would be 18 films and a comprehensive exam and tell you everything going on and what needs to be done first that would only be fair to you.
