If you look at the list of ingredients in most tooth whitening products (including the strips) you may notice that the tooth whitening ingredient is some form of Hydrogen Peroxide. Just use hydrogen peroxide instead of your regular mouth wash.

Every morning and before bed after brushing and flossing use Hydrogen Peroxide as your mouth wash. You can buy hydrogen peroxide (3% in the brown bottle) at your local drugstore for about $2 for a 32 ounce bottle. Mix ? ounce hydrogen peroxide with ? ounce hot water and swirl in your mouth for about 1 minute (hydrogen peroxide is tasteless but it FOAMS). Spit out (DO NOT SWALLOW) and then rinse your mouth out several times with cool water. A 32 ounce bottle will last about one month.

Hydrogen peroxide will not only whiten your teeth it also kills the bacteria in the mouth that causes bad breath and cavities.

For even more tooth whitening try a hydrogen peroxide and baking soda toothpaste.

Peroxide and baking soda.

I have heard ot two at home tooth bleaching -
1- salt
2- baking soda

dip your tooth brush into (salt/baking soda) and brush. Also rinse with cold water. This protects the enamel , or so I've heard.

I heard you put lemon juice on the tooth brush, brush your teeth with it, then use toothpaste by it's self

you can use strawberries. i saw it on the tyra banks show.

If you hear of bleaching your teeth, DO NOT USE HOUSEHOLD BLEACH. My hubby did this and he nearly ended up in hospital, he just used a small amount on his brush with his regular toothpaste, btw I didnt know he was doing it or else I would have stopped him.

LESS SODA,COFFEE AND CIGARETTES AND A GOOD DENTIST SHOULD DO IT IF NOT GET ONE OF THE SELF BLEACHING KITS AT A LOCAL PHARMACY!!

Strawberries act as natural teeth whiteners. I don't think lemon would be a good idea. It has acid, which can wear away at enamel.
