Do braces really hurt??????????
Ok so i have sorta bad teeth and i was wondering do braces really hurt!!!!!! So i have to get full metal mouth ( Braces on all teeth the first time) and i also have to get a EXPANDER!!!!!!!!!!!! My question is does the expander really hurt when you put the key in and try it to expand your top jaw!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an expander as well. And braces currently. The expander hurt more than the braces ever have. The expander is key to having braces though, without it you might have to get teeth removed...which would be far more pain full the the expander ever was. If i remember correctly the expander key was twice a day for about a week. It did hurt, but honestly you've probably had worse pain. If you have the choice get the expander in the summer because it leaves you with a gap between your front teeth. I'd recommend getting the braces, it's well worth it!
Braces by them self only hurt after you get them tightened, or switch to a tighter rubber band. The pain lasts 1-2 days and then your back to normal!
