Tooth slightly brown?!


Question: My tooth has a mark near the gum where it has become brown what does this mean? Can i get rid of it?

Also my molar has a few black lines along the inner bits, what are these and can i get rid of this too?

This is either decay and will need a cavity..or is decalcification. Decalcification is the loss of calcium from the teeth.

It is usually caused by the excessive build up of plaque on the tooth enamel. Poor hygiene, health or braces can cause this.

I'd see you dentist, it can be treated with a new type of topical paste called "MI Paste", this restores calcium and lightens the brown.
Or, they can drill the area away and bond it with white filling.

it could be stains. If food collects inside, it could be cavity. Get it checked.
