You should replace your toothbrush at least every 2 months.

I BELIEVE IS EVERY 3 MONTHS

Standard amount of time is three months

You can tell if the bristles are messed up, and bent, you need a new one.

Every 12-16 weeks. Um... HOW LONG HAVE YOU GONE USIN THE SAME TOOTHBRUSH???

I feel sorry for your gf man...

u can buy many and keep them in your bathroom cabinet and then get one to use as and when you need.

and if you are asking how often should you get a new toothbrush to use, then its about 1 in 6 months.

dentists recomment every 6 months since the bristles start breaking down and they start having more bacteria built up on them.

I usually by a new toothbrush around every three months.

after a sickness

Dentists recommend every 3 months or if the toothbrush shows sings of wear whichever comes first.

when it gets dull or every three monts(every season)

When your previous one gets coated in dog feaces and crusty bacteria.

i dont know ...

but for me, when i see that my toothbrush is already wore out, ill buy new one...
