Answers:

It will depend on the size of the gap between your teeth. If you have a rather large diastema (space in between the front teeth), the dentist can do a diastema closing procedure using composite to recontour the tooth and make it more aesthetic while closing the contact. It usually takes a few hours and lasts 10-15 years depending on the procedure and the wear on the teeth.

If you have a piece of skin in between them (I'm assuming because I dont' have a picture of your mouth to look at), it osunds like your frenulum may be in between the teeth causing the diastema. It may need to be removed depending on size and then the recontouring of the teeth with composite. Removing the skin will not close the gap because it is caused by the placement of the teeth.

If your diastema is really, really little, then it could be corrected by orthodontics.

You could also consider veneers, but they usually cause a lot of wear on the teeth.

I'm not sure prices on these...
